Northwest of Scotland, to some 95 km from Inverness, Kyle of Lochalsh neighbor and to the side of Loch Duich is cut in the landscape Eilean Donan Castle. This Fortaleza Castle is located in a strategic position. Today you can arrive in a very accessible way through a fine street and an attractive stone bridge. The castle dates from the thirteenth century and was built on the ruins of an ancient fortress used as a defense against Vikings attacks.
