To some 95 km desde Zurich, 85 km from Bern, 145 km from Basel, and about 1100 meters above sea level, we find Hasliberg, one of the most beautiful areas in the Swiss Alps in the canton of Bern.
The majesty of the environment is perceived as we approach the town, surrounded by steep mountains and marked valleys. Its highest point is located on the peak glockhaus parts 2500 meters above sea level.
Of course it is an ideal area for those who want to practice snow sports, but it also has a natural charm, with mountains, fences, small trickles of water and many trails for great walks surrounded by such wonderful nature that, in addition to allowing us a gentle and quiet exercise, helps to find inner peace at every step and where only the sounds of nature are heard.
To appreciate such a spectacular landscape, it is advisable to take one of the means, gondolas, for later, once at the top start the various proposed routes. The paths are so well maintained that it is possible to descend from the top to the town with possibilities of descending between 40' and 60'. You can also choose shorter routes and return to the means to descend on them. But actually walking down to the town is a fantastic and highly recommended experience that does not require much training..
Who wants a little more adrenaline, there is the possibility of tobogganing. Once up you can rent sledges and go down as many times as you want.. This descent takes approximately 15 'and after finishing the route you really want to repeat the experience..
as it is natural, at the top there are restaurants and options where to cool off, rest and recharge.
in february 2021 we spent a few days there staying in Meringen from where there is an ascent base by means of gondolas: Hasliberg Twing (gondola)
Between 3 Y 5 days is a sufficient stay to enjoy the mountains and nature. If you want to tour the area, a couple more days would suffice.
